E-receipts + QASIDA OCR (Receipt Import)

The QASIDA OCR function used for importing cash receipts within the eKASA system is designed to simplify and accelerate the process of recording cash receipts into the accounting system. The system allows for efficient processing of receipts that employees bring to the finance department (either for reimbursement of cash or to document card transactions). It allows importing cash receipts directly into the accounting system without the need for manual data entry.

How does the import of a receipt work in practice?

An employee takes a picture of the receipt and sends it to the cashier for processing. The cashier can load the receipt into the system using different import options.

Receipt Import Options:

​Import of the receipt occurs using a unique identifier (UID) assigned to the receipt.

• Import from email: Automatic loading of cash receipts directly from email without the need to manually save them.

• Image import: Option to import images of receipts stored on the disk.

• Accounting settings: After importing the receipts, the user can set accounting masks that will automatically fill in the accounting details for each item on the receipt.

• Assigning to the cash register: After setting up the accounting, the receipts can be assigned to the cash register and then processed in the cash books.

Sections and tabs in the Receipt Import window:

• Document: Display of all imported receipts with filtering options (e.g., Transferred to PD, Rejected).

• Items: Display of all items from the receipt that can be subsequently accounted for.

• Payments: Section for displaying payments and their details.

• E-documents: Storing and displaying scanned versions of cash receipts.

• Settings: Configuration options for system functions.

• Accounting masks: Option to set accounting masks for individual items on the receipts.
