Everything begins with partnership
The whole day was moderated by Ľubo Straka, known from the TV show "World of Technology" on TA3. His technological enthusiasm, humor, and quick remarks gave the conference a relaxed atmosphere and a human touch. Exactly as expected. Because business and partnerships work best where there is genuine interest, respect, and open communication.
After the opening welcome, Renáta Rybanská, CEO of Asseco Solutions, gave a speech where she openly expressed the vision behind preparing this event:
"We would be glad if you become part of our story. We believe what we and our partners have achieved with our products is exceptional. Our motto and vision for the future is to be a partner for our customers with whom they can grow. We have software that complies not only with legislation but also with customers’ expectations. And we want to bring it together with you to as many companies as possible."
Our vision is not about one-time sales. We seek partners who:
-
have a passion for technology and want to deliver value,
-
understand local needs and can tailor solutions,
-
are ambitious and unafraid of challenges,
-
believe in long-term relationships built on trust and communication.
Current challenges that require thoughtful responses
But how to do business in an increasingly dynamic and unpredictable environment?
This topic was followed by Ladislav Jelinek, CFO of Asseco Solutions, who has been in the ERP business for more than 20 years. His presentation was full of concrete data, real observations, and practical strategies that can help companies survive, adapt, and succeed.
The most frequent description of the market environment:
-
Globally, there is slow economic growth, trade tensions, geopolitical risks, technological transformation, and supply chain uncertainty.
-
In Slovakia, there are additional issues like energy uncertainty, threats in the automotive industry, decreasing competitiveness, and political instability.
How to respond?
Ladislav Jelinek presented three main answers that successful companies most often choose:
-
Flexibility and adaptability – the ability to respond quickly and efficiently,
-
Investment in technology – modern solutions as a competitive advantage,
-
Diversification – expanding products, channels, or target segments.
An interesting addition was his reflection on the famous Rogers’ innovation adoption curve, showing the importance of ambition in company decision-making. He followed this with Reeves’ vision and strategy emphasizing that in unstable times, companies survive by building their future on renewal and transformation strategies.
He also referred to Keeley’s three pillars of effectiveness – configuration, offering, and experience. As he noted, efficiency naturally tends to decline over time, while new trends come and go faster and faster. Therefore, it is crucial to focus correctly. Not on everything, but on what makes the most sense for the company’s future. This principle is also confirmed by Gartner’s approach to innovation, helping companies determine where it is worth investing.
A simple framework for a complex world
The conclusion of his presentation can be summarized into three clear points defining our role as a technology partner:
-
Ambition – we help you identify new opportunities,
-
Vision and strategy – we support you in creating them,
-
Efficiency – we provide you tools to implement them.
From theory to practice: How partnership changes company reality
This strategic part was followed by Andrea Benková from Argania, a company operating in the Tatras for more than 13 years. Their family accounting firm gradually became a reliable partner in ERP implementation as well. After certification from Asseco Solutions, they became an active partner and within two months after training, they implemented the QASIDA system for the first time – an admirable success.
Andrea Benková presented three pillars of their business, which complement each other today:
-
Accounting services,
-
Interim management and project consulting,
Partnership with Asseco Solutions.
Their story reflects an ideal transformation scenario. From being a SPIN system user, through recognizing the benefits of QASIDA, to certification and implementation for a client who previously worked fully manually. Today, this client has 90% of their agenda automated.
As she said:
“It’s not just about selling software. It’s about selling a solution that helps the client. QASIDA really helps us with that. It’s intuitive, and what is automatic in it, others consider a bonus.”
Ms. Benková emphasized that their success was also possible thanks to Asseco Solutions consultants who can tune in to the company’s atmosphere and offer meaningful solutions. The switch from SPIN to QASIDA was challenging but manageable – especially thanks to teamwork and open communication.
Important advice from Andrea Benková:
-
The client notices what you can do. Don’t sell software – sell a solution.
-
Communication is key. So is the ability to listen and understand client needs.
-
You need to have the will. The accounting world is changing, and new ways of working must be found.
And she didn’t forget to encourage women in the field:
“Women don’t need to be afraid.”
To which moderator Ľubo Straka humorously added:
“You only need to be afraid of artificial intelligence. It will replace men first, then women.” 😊
According to her, QASIDA brings automation that makes sense – accounting is processed quickly, with quality, allowing companies to focus on what matters: growth and development.
All this – and more – you can watch in the first episode of the conference.
What you get ?
A partnership with Asseco Solutions will bring you new opportunities, an additional source of income, and greater stability.
